CARRABASSETT VALLEY, Maine - UMass Men's Skiing completed its season last weekend when they participated in the NCAA EISA Regionals at Sugarloaf. The Minutemen competed in the Slalom event because of wind and rain on the mountain. Andrew Hawes (Concord, Mass.) led the Minutemen with a 21st place finish.

Due to time constrictions with USCSA National Championships, the Women's Team was unable to make the trip to Sugarloaf. But Hawes, Matthew Small (Shelburne Falls, Mass.) and Travis Hopkins (North Andover, Mass.) did make the trip for the Minutemen. Hopkins skied to a 32nd place finish while Small did not finish one of his runs.
