AMHERST, Mass. - The postseason honors and events continue to roll in for UMass senior midfielder Bobby Hayes. The team captain will play in the NEILA Turfer East/West All-Star Game on Sunday, June 6 at Endicott College. Hayes played in the USILA North-South Game last weekend. He was recently named a USILA Scholar All-American in addition to being an All-New England and All-CAA selection.

Hayes played in the North-South All-Star Game with fellow senior captain Diogo Godoi last Friday. A First-Team All-New England pick and Second-Team All-CAA, Hayes was third on the team in scoring and had points in all 14 games this season. He finished with career-best of 20 goals and 14 assists for 34 points. He had six multi-goal games including the first four games of the season. He netted a career-best four goals in the opener at Sacred Heart on Feb. 12.

He graduated with a 3.5 GPA in Marketing earning USILA Scholar All-American honors as well and NEILA Scholar-Athlete honors.

One other connection has former UMass volunteer assistant coach Brian Kinsbury, now an assistant at Castleton State in Vermont, serving as a coach for the West Team which Hayes will play for.
