AMHERST, Mass. - After a 17-6 win at Delaware wrapped up an undefeated regular-season for the UMass men's lacrosse team, Will Manny and Ryan Izzo were honored with CAA weekly awards. Manny was named the Player of the Week, while Izzo was named the league's Rookie of the Week. The No. 1 ranked and top-seeded Minutemen will host fourth-seeded Towson on Wednesday night (7 PM) in the CAA Semifinals.

Manny scored six goals and added two assists for a game-high eight points in the win at Delaware. The game marked his 7th outing of the season with 5-or-more points in a game. The six goals were also one shy of his season-high.

For Izzo, the redshirt freshman from Walpole, Mass., notched his second goal of the season in the win while adding a groundball.

The win improved UMass to 13-0 overall - its first perfect regular-season since 1969 and just the second in program history.

In Monday's Nike Media Poll and the USILA Coaches Poll, UMass was ranked No. 1 marking the first time in program history that the Minutemen were ranked as the nation's best team in both polls.

Tickets for Wednesday's CAA Semifinal game are on sale now by calling the UMass Box Office at 413-545-0810. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth (age 13-17). Children under 12 and UMass students with ID get in for free.
