Leveille To Compete In U.S. National Team Blue-White Game

BALTIMORE - The U.S. Lacrosse Men's National Team Blue-White Game rosters were announced on Tuesday, with former Minuteman Kevin Leveille (2000-03) among those selected to participate. Leveille was one of 48 chosen and will compete as part of the 24-man Team White in the ninth annual Champion Challenge on Jan. 26 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

The game, which will be televised live on Watch ESPN at 1:30 p.m. and rebroadcast at 10 p.m. on ESPNU, is the final on-field opportunity for members of the 51-player Team USA training roster to earn a place on the squad for the 2014 Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) World Championship, hosted July 10-19 in Denver.

Leveille finished his four years with UMass men's lacrosse with 159 points on 105 goals and 54 assists. He was a three-time USILA All-American who earned his best individual season as a senior when he recorded 51 points on 34 goals and 17 assists.
