Appeared in nine games on the year... missed seven games with a shoulder injury, before playing in the NCAA Quarterfinals against Maryland... scored seven points (2 g, 5 a), including two assists in win over Brown... scored first career goal against Stony Brook... netted a goal against Maryland in the NCAA's... had two ground balls on the season.

BEFORE UMASS:
Played for four years under his father, Kirk Ventiquattro, at Carthage Central High School... scored over 100 points during his senior season... was a team captain during his senior campaign... led team to state runner-up finish twice... earned spot on the Empire All-State team, and was a 2002 All-American... was a senior All-Star... also excelled at football and basketball, where he was a senior All-Star.

PERSONAL:
Anthony James Ventiquattro... son of Kirk and Carmelita Ventiquattro... born July 7, 1983... last name comes from his great-great grandfather. He was an orphan in Italy that was dropped off at an orphanage on the 24th day of the month, which in Italian, is "Ventiquattro"... sports management major.
