BEFORE UMASS:
A four-year letterwinner at Orchard Park High School, where he played for his father, Gene Tundo... team went a combined 78-4 during his four years and were state finalists in 2000 and 2001. Team was also Section 6 Champs the last four seasons... scored 99 points as a senior and was a team captain during his junior and senior seasons... was named All-American and All-Western New York in 2002 and 2003... played in the National North-South All-American Game... also appeared in the Western New York Senior All-Star Game.
PERSONAL:
Matthew Thomas Tundo... born July 16, 1985... son of Gene and Valerie Tundo... brother, Gene, is junior standout on this year's Minuteman team... enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
