ON SCHNIBBE: A long-pole from the decorated Duxbury program ... has great hand-eye coordination ... gets the ball of the ground fast ... working to improve his strength to cover the bigger players in college ... has great tenacity ... has the ability to excel at the college level ... comes off winning three Massachusetts state high school titles ... a former lacrosse goalie also played played hockey in high school.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2007: Played in 11 games as a long-stick defensive midfielder ... Saw some time on the man-down unit.

BEFORE UMASS: Helped Duxbury High School to three straight Massachusetts Division I state titles under coach Chris Sweet ... Dragons won 45 of 46 games over the past two seasons including 22-0 in his senior year ... switched from goalie to long-stick midfielder/close defender his sophomore year ... helped his football team to a state championship his senior year.
