AS A JUNIOR IN 2008: Face-off specialist won 86-of-176 draws for 49 percent with 32 groundballs (tied for third on the team) ... Won 6-of-13 along with four groundballs in finale vs. Rutgers (5/3) ... At #1 Syracuse (4/26), won 9-of-12 face-offs ... Won career-best 15-of-21 face-offs at St. John's (4/5) ... Over three games from Mar. 11-18, won 26-of-39 draws (66.7) ... Career-high 13-of-17 on face-offs with career-high nine groundballs at Sacred Heart (3/18). The nine groundballs marked the most by any UMass player all season ... Won 5-of-10 at Brown (3/15) ... Won 8-of-12 with three groundballs vs. Albany (3/11) ... Began the year by winning 10-of-16 with a 62.5 win percentage against Hofstra (2/23). Also grabbed a then career-high five groundballs and recorded his first-career point, an assist.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2007: Reserve face-off specialist who saw more time in his second season at UMass ... recovered from off-season knee surgery to repair a tear ... won 23-of-52 for 44.2 percent in 12 games ... took at least one draw in first 10 games, winning 16-of-43 ... won 7-of-9 nine face-offs in last two games of season ... in finale at Rutgers (5/5), won 4-of-5 face-offs ... came on late to win 3-of-4 draws vs. #12 Syracuse (4/28) ... won 2-of-6 draws at Hobart (4/14) ... took career-best 20 face-off at Albany (3/13), winning career-high nine draws ... won one face-off in first three games at Harvard (3/10), Yale (3/3) and at Hofstra (2/24).
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2006: Reserve face-off man, who made his debut vs. Sacred Heart (3/21) and won both draws ... won his only draw at St. John's (4/8) ... lost a draw vs. Hobart (4/15).
