AS A FRESHMAN IN 2008: (As of May 6)
• Starting freshman attackman had 25 points in 14 starts.
• Third on the team in points and second in goals (17).
• Points in 11 of 14 games in freshman season. Had goals in eight of 14 games.
• Posted 10 multi-point games.
• 14 points in last seven games in 2008.
• Named ECAC Co-Rookie of Week twice: on March 10 and April 14. On ECAC Honor Roll on May 5.
• Posted third-career hat trick vs. Rutgers (5/3) in season finale. Scored two man-up goals.
• Two assists vs. Fairfield (4/22), both in fourth quarter as part of comeback.
• Set up a goal at #5 Georgetown (4/19).
• Earned second ECAC Rookie honor after hat trick, including game-winning overtime goal to cap comeback vs. Hobart (4/12).
• Goal and assist in win at St. John's (4/5).
• Scored twice in win at Penn State (3/29).

• Comes off a post-graduate year at the Salisbury School where he played under Coach Bobby Wynne and was selected as All-Division First-Team...in high school he was a three-year varsity attackman and midfielder in Norwalk, CT. ... two-time All-America honors as a midfielder in his junior year and as an attackman during his senior year.

BEFORE UMASS: Pete did a post-graduate year at the Salisbury School where he played under Coach Bobby Wynne and was selected as All-Division First-Team...in high school he was a three-year varsity attackman and midfielder in Norwalk, CT., where he played under coach Michael Epstein... As a sophomore he earned Honorable Mention All-FCIAC...in his sophomore and junior years he earned All-Area honors...as a junior he was named Team Offensive MVP... junior and senior year he was selected for the First-Team All-State and First-Team All-FCIAC...two-time All-America honors as a midfielder in his junior year and as an attackman during his senior year ... as a senior in 2006 he was captain of his team, honored as All-Area MVP, named Team MVP, and selected to represent the East Team at the US Lacrosse National Senior Showcase...accumulated over 300 points during his high school career.
