    AS A SENIOR IN 2008: (As of May 6)
    • Third-year starting close defensemen in fourth year overall.
    • Started the last 46 games in a row, 14 games senior year.
    • Has helped UMass' defense to a 8.56 GAA this season.
    • Posted 15 groundballs and 14 caused turnovers.
    • Three caused turnovers as UMass shut out Hobart's (4/12) attack in OT win. Defended Daryl Veltman, ending his 25-game point-scoring streak.
    • Caused three turnovers vs. Loyola (3/22).
    • Two groundballs in each game at Brown (3/15) and at Sacred Heart (3/18).
    • Had 23 groundballs and 10 caused turnovers in 2007.
    • Part of defense that allowed just 7.92 goals per game.
    • In 2006, started all 18 games and had 29 groundballs and 14 caused turnovers.

    AS A JUNIOR IN 2007: Stared on close defensemen for second straight year ... Started the last 32 games in a row ... Had 23 groundballs and 10 caused turnovers in 2007 ... Part of defense that allowed just 7.92 goals per game ... In finale at Rutgers (5/5) had three groundballs and two caused turnovers .. Played great defense against Fairfield (4/24) leading scorer Mike Bocklet, holding him scoreless for three quarters ... Tied a career-high with four groundballs vs. St. John's (4/7) ... Played great defense in holding Sacred Heart's (3/20) leading scorer Peter Greco to one goal ... Had four groundballs at Hofstra (2/24).

    AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2006: Started all 18 games on close defense in his second collegiate season ... had 29 groundballs and 14 caused turnovers ... part of defense that allowed just 8.36 goals per game ... had two caused turnovers and two groundballs vs. Maryland (5/27) in NCAA Semifinals ... played outstanding defense on Athan Iannucci of Hofstra (5/20) in NCAA Quarterfinal, holding the nation's leading scorer without a goal and just one shot as he came into the game with 62 goals ... had tremendous game in NCAA First Round win at Cornell (5/13), started a fastbreak with a caused turnover in third quarter leading to Jamie Yaman's goal, also solid in final minutes to preserve win ... career-high four groundballs and caused turnover at St. John's (4/8) ... three groundballs vs. Sacred Heart (3/21).

    AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005: Reserve defenseman, who played in five games... scooped up a groundball in the win against St. John's (4/9)... snagged a groundball vs. Penn State (4/2).

    BEFORE UMASS: Played for Jim Wygonik at Daniel Hand... guided the team to a conference championship as a senior defender... named team MVP and was a Connecticut Super Junior... recognized as all-state once, and all-league three times... lettered four years in hockey and football... captained all three squads his senior year... awarded the Madison Youth Football Sportsmanship award... member of the peer advocates and wilderness survival club ... teammate of current Minuteman Fred Federico in high school.
