AS A SENIOR IN 2004... Named Preseason Second Team All-America... played in one game before suffering a back injury forcing him to miss the remainder of the season... scored a goal taking four shots, and snagged a groundball in his only game vs. North Carolina (2/28) in Baltimore.
AS A JUNIOR IN 2003... One of the nation's top players, earned first team All-ECAC, first team All-New England and USILA third team All-America... led the Minutemen and the ECAC in scoring (62), goals (41) and assists (21)... totals ranked him tied for fourth in the country in total points, tied for fifth in goals per game and sixth in points per game... became the 11th player in UMass history to score 40 goals and 20 assists in the same season... named ECAC Player of the Week following a 19-point showing in a three-game week in mid-March, and was also selected Dinn Brothers / UMass Athlete of the Week during the same week... scored a career-best nine points on seven goals and two assists in a win over Albany (3/18)... the seven goals was the most in a game in all of college lacrosse in 2003... game prior to the nine-point effort, Zywicki tallied six points with two goals and four assists against Brown (3/15)... career-high for assists... also totaled six points on five goals and an assist in a win over nationally-ranked Hofstra (3/23)... scored five points on two goals and three assists in contests against Stony Brook (3/1) and Penn State (3/29)... scored four points off four goals against Georgetown (4/19), off a three goals and an assist vs. Rutgers (5/3), notched two goals and two assists against Hartford (3/21)... tallied three points off of three goals versus Sacred Heart (2/22), netted two goals and had an assist vs. Navy (3/8), tallied a hat trick against Yale (4/12), dished two assists and notched a goals vs. Harvard (4/16)... found the back of the cage twice and had an assist in the NCAA first-round victory over Hofstra (5/11)... split the pipes twice against UMBC (4/5) and registered a goal and assist vs. Syracuse (4/26)... his lone goal against Syracuse was one of the biggest goals in school history, as it defeated the Orange in overtime. The goal gave UMass its first win over Syracuse since 1981, a span of 24 games... scooped up a career-best seven groundballs in the victory over Sacred Heart (2/22), and added five against Hofstra (3/23) and Navy (3/8)... his 62 points were the most for a UMass player since Mark Millon scored 81 in 1993, and the third most since 1991... the 41 goals, which are tied 13th on the single-season list, were also the most since Millon's 58 in the 1993 campaign... 21 assists were the most for a UMass player since Mike Valente's 33 in 1994.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2002... Appeared in all 16 games, providing an offensive spark off the bench... named to the ECAC All-Academic team... key component to an offense that led the ECAC in scoring... scored 16 goals and 11 assists for 27 points... notched at least one point in 15 of 16 games... scooped up 21 groundballs... finished season with a 10-game point streak... scored two goals in NCAA quarterfinals against Johns Hopkins (5/19)... scored a goal against Fairfield in the first round of the NCAA Tournament... had a four-point game in the regular-season finale against Rutgers (5/4) with a goal and three assists... started the year off with a three-point game on two goals and an assist against Hofstra (2/23)... dished out three assists in the win over Hartford (3/23)... scored a pair of goals versus Stony Brook (3/2), Brown and Georgetown (4/20)... tallied a goal and an assist in the road victory over Navy (3/9)... notched an assist in the games versus Vermont (3/13), UMBC (4/6) and Syracuse (4/26)... picked up an individual season-high four ground balls against Fairfield (5/11).
