A four-year letterwinner at Comsewogue High School, where he played for Peter Mitchell... scored 100 points (55 g, 45 a) as a senior and scooped up 54 ground balls... finished scholastic career with 310 points (172 g, 138 a) and was a team captain his senior year... was All-League, All-County, All-Long Island and an honorable mention All-America selection during his senior year... was also a two-time winner of the Long Island Championship Game MVP honor... led team to a 35-6 mark over his final two seasons, including a state title in 2002.
