Named a preseason All-ECAC selection and a 2003 preseason third team All-America.

AS A JUNIOR IN 2002:
Named to the second team All-ECAC... also named second team All-New England... started in 15 of 16 games... was part of a stingy defense that held opponents to less than 10 goals a game... dished out his first career assist in the win over Harvard for his lone point of the season... scooped up 40 ground balls, including at least two in all but two appearances... had a game-high five ground balls against Albany and Penn State... picked up four ground balls in the Minutemen's 17-4 win over Fairfield in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, and four in the NCAA quarterfinal loss to Johns Hopkins... scooped up three ground balls versus Hofstra, Brown, Hartford and Harvard... picked up a pair of ground balls in five other games.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2001:
An All-New England second team selection... started in all 14 games for the Minutemen... scored his first career goal against Syracuse tying the game late in the fourth quarter... scooped up 25 ground balls... part of a UMass defensive unit that finished the season ranked sixth in the nation allowing a mere 7.71 goals per game.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2000:
Played in 13 games... scooped up seven ground balls.

BEFORE UMASS: Played for Craig Gallagher at Shaker Heights... four-time All-Ohio selection and three-time first team pick... Greater Cleveland Defensive Player of the Year as a senior... on the Vail Shootout All Tournament team in 1999... three-time team Most Valuable Defensive Player... team MVP as a senior... two-time team captain... top ground ball man on the team as a junior and senior... also played football and was an All-Lake Erie League, All-County and All-District pick at defensive end.
