ON BAGNASCO: Coming off a redshirt injury season ... has fully recovered from a broken thumb suffered in a preseason camp in 2006 ... a talented player who has done a great job getting himself into better shape for this season ... developing into a more complete lacrosse player who will see some time on attack ... has real good field sense ... according to Cannella, "he is a fire plug of a kid" ... a righty, who finishes the ball pretty well.

BEFORE UMASS: Graduated from Farmingdale High School on Long Island where he played for coach Bob Hartranft and Buddy Krumenacker ... helped lead the Dalers to four straight Nassau County Championships and a New York State Finals appearance in 2003 ... finished his prep career with 110 goals and 102 assists for 212 points ... as a senior, named an Honorable Mention All-American as he scored 34 goals and added 31 assists ... had 80 groundballs as a senior ... earned All-Nassau County honors as a junior and senior ... earned academic all-conference honors ... was the quarterback for the football team, earning all-conference honors and winning Nassau County championship.
