UMass' Braun Added To U.S. National Team Roster

UMass hockey alumnus and current San Jose Sharks' defenseman Justin Braun has been added to the U.S. Men's National Team Roster for the 2012 International Ice Hockey Federation Men's World Championship, USA Hockey announced on Saturday. Team USA will be competing in the upcoming tournament, which is slated for May 4-20, in Helsinki, Finland and Stockholm, Sweden. MORE

Former UMass netminder Jonathan Quick has been named one of three finalists for the 2012 Vezina Trophy, the National Hockey League announced on Wednesday. Congratulations to UMass' own Jonathan Quick on backstopping the Los Angeles Kings to an upset of the top-seeded Vancouver Canucks in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
