Closing out one season series and beginning another, the Mass Attack will head to Northeastern on Friday for its season finale against the Huskies before returning home on Saturday to play its first of the year against No. 4 Merrimack. Saturday night is Bright Out Night at Mullins, as the first 1,000 students let in the building will get a free white t-shirt courtesy of UMass Dining.

The UMass hockey team erased a two-goal first period deficit, but third period power plays helped #11 UMass Lowell past the Mass Attack, 5-2 on Saturday night at Tsongas Arena. With the setback, the Minutemen are now 9-10-5 overall and 5-8-4 in Hockey East, while the River Hawks improve to 16-6-0 overall and 11-5-0 in conference action.
