AMHERST, Mass. - After scoring the overtime game-winning goal against New Hampshire last Friday, David Boehm was named the Hockey East Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week. Boehm, a native of Naples, Fla., now has two goals and one assist in six games played this season. The Minutemen, ranked No. 11 nationally in the USCHO.com and USA Today poll, return to action on Thursday night at #9 Yale.

After Casey Wellman tied the game at 3-3 with 11 seconds remaining in regulation, Boehm hit the game-winning goal 2:05 into overtime with a wrister from just inside the blueline.

Boehm scored his first collegiate goal in a win over Niagara on Nov. 6 and tallied his first collegiate point with an assist in the win over Maine on Oct. 23.

Last season, Boehm played in the first two games of the season before being sidelined with an injury and receiving a medical redshirt for the year.
