The Minutemen awoke for Day 4 in Alaska and spirits were high on this frosty morning. After enjoying a nice breakfast and relaxing for much of the morning, they set out on a team walk around the hotel prior to the pre-game meal. It is quite beautiful around the hotel (see day 4 photo gallery), but the stubborn coastline fog did not budge and the Minutemen are still waiting to catch that first glimpse of Mount McKinley, the tallest mountain in North America.

UMass is set to face Canisius tonight in the third-place game of the Nye Frontier Classic. The Golden Griffins lost in a shootout to Alaska-Anchorage last night, but the game will go in the books as a 3-3 tie. Despite the tough loss to No. 3 Minnesota, the team is ready for the game. Check back later for full coverage of the game and read Matt Anderson's daily journal entry.
