AMHERST, Mass. - UMass hockey has announced that its games against Providence, scheduled for Jan. 11-12, will swap locations to avoid a scheduling conflict with women's basketball's home game versus George Washington. The Minutemen will now play at home on Friday, Jan. 11 at 7:00 p.m. vs. the Friars, while Saturday's contest, originally slated to be played in Amherst, will take place in Providence, R.I.

This Friday, Oct. 12, UMass will open up the 2012-13 campaign at home vs. Connecticut at 7:00 p.m.
