Hockey Television Schedule Announced With Time Changes

AMHERST, Mass. - A total of 23 games including 13 games on CBS3Now, four on NESN, and one on CBS College Sports have been announced for the UMass hockey 2010-11 season. This is the most comprehensive television package in program history for UMass fans. Additionally, nearly every game this season will feature online streaming video for fans.
The season-opening series at Minnesota as well as the two games at Wisconsin on Dec. 30-31 will be carried by Fox Sports North.

NESN will carry the home-opener against Boston University (10/22) and the home game against Quinnipiac (11/27). As part of the Hockey East Friday Night Ice package, UMass' games at UMass Lowell (1/14) and at Northeastern (1/28) will also be carried on NESN. Those two games will move to 7:30 PM start times.
UMass' home game against Boston University on Feb. 11 at the Mullins Center will be carried live nationally on CBS College Sports and will now start at 7:30 PM.
As part of UMass' package with CBS3Now, 13 home games will be shown live in Western Mass on Comcast Digital Channel 293.
All home games not on NESN or CBSCS will also have live streaming video through the UMass All-Access Package.
Additionally, all road games not on national or regional television will have streaming video available from each host institution.
Fans can get their first glimpse of the Mass Attack on Saturday at 3 PM as the Minutemen host New Brunswick in the Mullins Center Practice Rink in an exhibition match. Following the game, fans can stick around for the Skate With The Minutemen event where they can meet the team and coaching staff, get autographs, and skate around the rink.
