AMHERST, Mass. - With NHL prospect camps getting underway, several UMass players have earned invitations from NHL clubs. Sophomore Kevin Boyle, junior Michael Pereira, sophomore Oleg Yevenko and freshman K.J. Tiefenwerth are all attending camp with the New York Islanders, while junior Conor Allen is in prospect development camp with the Vancouver Canucks and senior Eddie Olczyk has been invited to the Carolina Hurricanes' conditioning camp.

On Thursday night in a Blue vs. Orange intrasquad scrimmage at Islanders Iceworks, Pereira added a goal to help the Orange team to a 6-0 victory in the contest, which consisted of two 25-minute halves. Boyle aided in the victory as well, not allowing a goal in his time between the pipes.

Canucks' camp began on Thursday and runs through July 2, while the Carolina Hurricanes' camp wraps up this Saturday after getting underway on June 26.
