2003-04: Trovato continued his "ironman" career, appearing in 36 of 37 games this season, missing only the March 5 Northeastern contest... Scored six points (4 g, 2 a), while committing 12 penalties for 24 minutes... Also recorded 37 shots on goal... Set a new school record, starting his career by playing in his first 102 games, and has seen action in 107 of 108 games while at UMass... Led the team with two shorthanded goals, the first of his career... First goal of the season was a shorthanded game-winner with just over two minutes to play that beat UMass Lowell, 3-2 (Oct. 11)... Netted goals in both games of the Sheraton / Banknorth Classic, including a shorthanded tally against Dartmouth. Other goal in the "Classic" came against Vermont (Dec. 28), which tied the game late in the third period... Potted a tying goal against New Hampshire (March 19) in the Hockey East Semifinals, starting a four-goal third period for UMass... Dished out assists against New Hampshire (Dec. 11) and UMass Lowell in the Hockey East Quarterfinals (March 12)... Was selected to participate in the prestigious NCAA Leadership Conference in late May and early June.

2002-03: Trovato played in all 37 games for the Minutemen, compiling nine points (5 g, 4 a)... Also posted a +1 plus-minus ratio and six penalties for 12 minutes... Scored game-winning goals against Iona and Princeton (12/1), and also netted goals against Northeastern (11/2), Boston University (12/6) and Maine in the first game of the Hockey East Quarterfinals (3/6)... Dished out helpers against Princeton (12/12), Maine (12/29), Providence (1/5) and New Hampshire (1/19)... Named to the Hockey East All-Academic team.

2001-02: Was one of just two Minutemen to play in all 34 of the team's games... Finished the season with 10 points on four goals and six assists... Had eight penalties for 16 minutes... Notched his first career point with an assist in the season-opening 4-2 victory over Niagara (10/13)... Had his first career multiple-point game with a goal and an assist against Providence (11/2)... Netted a single goal in games against UMass Lowell (11/17), New Hampshire (1/19) and Maine (2/22)... Recorded a single assist in games against Boston University (12/7), Niagara (12/28), Northeastern (1/26) and Merrimack (3/3)... Named to the Hockey East All-Academic team and Athletic Director's Honor Roll both semesters.

BEFORE UMASS: Played one season for Jim Lindsay at Deerfield Academy... Had 12 goals and 22 assists for 34 points in 2001... Founders League Hockey All-Star... Played three seasons for Bill Hanson at Catholic Memorial... Finished Deerfield and Catholic Memorial career with a combined 114 points on 44 goals and 70 assists... Team captain senior year...
