Ryan Feek enters his second season as an assistant strength coach for the University of Massachusetts Department of Athletics. Feek came to UMass after serving as Director of Sports Performance at Belmont University from 2012-14 where he was responsible for all physical development for men's basketball, women's basketball, volleyball, baseball, soccer and softball.
Prior to his time at Belmont, Feek interned with the St. Louis Rams and served as a strength and conditioning coach at University of Washington from 2008 to 2010 and as a volunteer strength and conditioning coach for Illinois Wesleyan University from 2005-08.
Feek was previously the Head Olympic Strength and Conditioning coach at Duke and spent nearly four years as a strength and conditioning coach at the University of Wisconsin designing and implementing sport-specific programs for men's and women's hockey, volleyball, crew, men's and women's soccer and men's and women's tennis.
Upon graduating from Illinois State in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, Feek completed a strength and conditioning internship at Texas A&M and served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Illinois State.
Feek is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning association.
