Scored two goals, including the game-tying goal with just seven seconds remaining in regulation against Colgate (10/21)... Had a goal and an assist at Nebraska-Omaha (11/10)... Exceeded his rookie season goal total (three) after just six games.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 1998-1999:
Played in 28 games... Had a career-best three points (one goal and two assists) in 6-3 win over Northeastern (2/12)... Recorded his first collegiate point with an assist at Vermont (11/24)... Also assisted on goals versus Air Force (11/29), New Hampshire (12/12), Western Michigan (12/29), Northeastern (1/5), Boston University (1/23) and Boston College (2/5)... Led all freshmen on the team in scoring... Named to the Hockey East honor roll on Feb. 15 for his three-point game against Northeastern (2/12)... Scored the game-winner in the 3-1 victory over Providence (2/27)... After going 20 games without a goal to start his collegiate career, had three goals in the final six games of the regular season.
BEFORE THE UNIVERSITY OF MASSACHUSETTS:
Played for the Brampton Capitals of the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League... Was a teammate of current Minuteman Randy Drohan... Played in the OPJHL All-Star game and was a team assistant captain in 1996-97... Was captain and MVP of the Capitals in 1997-98... Led the team in scoring with 105 points on 62 goals and 43 assists... His 62 goals was the second-highest total in the league.
