1999-00: Made 31 appearances, starting 28 games... Became UMass' second all-time career saves leader on Feb. 4 vs. BU... Recorded his second career shutout with a 1-0 overtime win against Army... Made 35 saves in 5-1 win over BC (2/26)... Named Hockey East Player of the Week on Feb. 28 and UMass/WHMP Athlete of the Week on March 1... Helped force overtime vs. UMass Lowell (11/5), making 31 saves... Notched 37 saves in 2-1 loss to BU (12/3)... Made 33 saves in both the 4-3 win over Notre Dame (12/10) and the 3-2 loss to Colgate... Made 22 saves and allowed just one goal in UMass' 5-1 win over Union... Stopped 21 shots in 2-1 win over Providence (1/7)... Recorded a season-high 38 saves in 3-1 win over the Friars (1/8)... Named Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week and WHMP/UMass Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 10...

1998-99: Played in 31 games, making 30 starts... All-Hockey East honorable mention... Won five of his last six starts during the regular season... Named Heaton/Hockey East Goaltender of the Month for November with a 2.23 GAA and a .928 save percentage in eight starts and received the honor again in February for his 4-1 record, .936 save percentage and 2.00 GAA in five appearances... Was named Hockey East Player of the Week, U.S. College Hockey Online National Defensive Player of the Week, NESN Male Athlete of the Week, and WHMP/UMass Athlete of the Week on Nov. 16 following UMass' win and tie over then No. 4 Maine... Posted a career-high 44 saves in the win over Maine (11/13) and followed that with 43 saves in the tie (11/14)... Had 13 30+ and four 40+ save efforts... All four 40+ save games came against Maine... Named the first-ever Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week following his exhibition shutout of Concordia (10/9)... Also received the honor on Feb. 8 for his 27-save performance in UMass' 3-1 win over Merrimack (2/6), Feb. 22 for his 35-save gem against UMass Lowell (2/20) in a 3-2 win, and Mar. 1 for his 37-save win against Providence (2/27) that clinched a playoff spot for UMass... Had started 16 consecutive games prior to Mike Johnson's start vs. Western Michigan (12/30), the longest streak of any UMass goaltender under former head coach Joe Mallen... Finished the season at fifth on the UMass career saves chart (1,032) and first on the UMass single season saves list (885)...

1997-98: Appeared in eight games, making five starts... Named WHMP/UMass Athlete of the Week on Jan. 14 after his shutout of Air Force... Posted his first collegiate shutout in win at Air Force (1/10), making 28 saves... Also started games at Nebraska-Omaha (11/8), Princeton (12/12), Merrimack (1/16) and BC (1/24)... Made a then-career-high 37 saves against the Eagles... Named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the fall semester for having a GPA above 3.0...

BEFORE UMASS: Played for Matt Hagman for Jokerit (Finnish Jr. A League)... Attended New Hartford High School... Was a member of the 1995-96 Finnish Championship team... Led the league in goals against average and save percentage in 1996-97... Also played tennis at New Hartford and was the team MVP and Tri-Valley League singles champion...
