2003-04: :MacDonald had a strong junior season, appearing in 29 games, tallying eight points (1 g, 7 a)... Also committed four penalties for eight minutes... His lone goal was a big one, a power-play game-winning tally in the second period of UMass' first-ever win over Boston University at Walter Brown Arena (Jan. 7). Also tallied an assist in the same game against the Terriers... Dished out two assists in the 5-5 tie at Vermont (Dec. 28)... Distributed assists in back-to-back games against Providence (Nov. 15) and Maine (Nov. 21)... Had helpers against New Hampshire twice (Dec. 11 and Feb. 6)... Had 25 shots on goal for the Minutemen.

2002-03: Appeared in 15 games for the Minutemen, accumulating three points (1 g, 2 a)... Scored lone goal of the season in UMass' 8-6 victory over UConn on Feb. 14...
