Played in 25 games... Led the team with a +5 plus/minus rating... Scored four goals and seven assists for 11 points... Finished sixth in overall shot percentage in Hockey East (.211) by scoring four goals on 19 shots... Netted two goals and two assists against Boston College (10/29)... Recorded two goals in the weekend series against Maine (2/9 & 2/10)... AS A SOPHOMORE IN 1999-2000:
One of only three Minutemen to play in all 36 games... Netted two goals and an assist in a two-game series at Maine (2/11, 2/12)... Scored his fourth goal against Merrimack (1/21)... Recorded a career-high two assists at Merrimack (11/13)... Netted his first goal of the season on a power play against Union... Scored the game-winning goal versus Harvard... Tallied a goal against Northeastern (1/15)... Scored a goal in the Hockey East quarterfinals against Boston University (3/11).
AS A FRESHMAN IN 1998-1999:
Played in 29 games... Missed the second Western Michigan game (12/30) and the Northeastern game (1/5) with a mild concussion... Posted his first collegiate goal against Merrimack (10/30) in UMass' 3-2 win... Scored a goal in UMass' 5-4 win over Boston University (1/23)... Was on a four-game scoring streak between 10/10 and 11/13... Tied for the team lead in plus/minus with a +3... Named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the spring semester for having a GPA above 3.0.
BEFORE THE UNIVERSITY OF MASSACHUSETTS:
Played for Dan Larmer for Stouffville of the Ontatio Provincial Junior Hockey League... Finished 1997-98 with 103 points on 36 goals and 67 assists in 49 games... Led his team in scoring and was third in the league... Played in the OPJHL All-Star game in 1997 98 and was the league's most improved player in 1996-97... Finished his two-year career for Stouffville as the team's all-time leading scorer with 172 points on 65 goals and 97 assists... Earned team's MVP honor in 1997-98.
