08/28/2012 UMass Names John Gobeil Director Of Hockey OperationsThe 2009 Vermont graduate rounds out John Micheletto's staff. John Gobeil, a 2009 graduate of the University of Vermont, joined the UMass hockey staff as the Director of Operations in 2012 and enters his second season with the Minutemen in 2013-14. Gobeil comes to UMass from Vermont where he served as Director of Hockey Operations for his alma mater from 2009-2012. As an undergrad at UVM, he was a student equipment manager for the Catamounts from 2006-2009 and earned his degree in Community Entrepreneurship. A native of Derby, Vt., Gobeil was a two-year captain at North Country Union High School. He was named all-state as a senior and played in the senior all-star game. Updated May 23, 2013 |
