Scored a goal and an assist in UMass' 3-2 win over Merrimack (10/30) and was named Hockey East Rookie of the Week...Also posted assists at Air Force (11/29), Providence (2/26), and Merrimack (3/5)...Named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the fall semester for having a GPA above 3.0.

BEFORE UMASS: Played for the Collingwood Blues of the Ontario Provincial Jr. A Hockey League... Was assistant captain and recorded five goals and 21 assists in 51 games in his final season of junior hockey...Won the team's Scholar Athlete award in 1996-97 and Top Defenseman honors in 1997-98.
