AS A FRESHMAN IN 2002-03:
Anderson appeared in 36 of the team's 37 games, missing only the second game of the Hockey East quarterfinals with Maine (3/7)... Ranked fifth on the team in scoring with 31 points and his 21 assists were second on the team... Had a career-best four points (2 g, 2 a) in 7-2 win over Dartmouth... In that game, Anderson tied a school record with two shorthanded goals and was +6 for the contest... Tallied a three-point game (2 g, 1 a) against Merrimack (1/11)... That performance, along with two points the previous night against the Warriors (1/10) earned Anderson Hockey East Rookie of the Week... Contributed two-point outings against RPI, Princeton (12/1), Boston College (1/3), Connecticut (2/14) and Merrimack (3/1)... Scored one goal in games against Nebraska-Omaha, Northeastern (11/2), Princeton (12/12) and Maine (3/6)... Ranked second among Hockey East freshmen in scoring and 13th nationally.
BEFORE THE UNIVERSITY OF MASSACHUSETTS:
Played for Gary Dineen and Lincoln Flagg for the New England Jr. Coyotes (EJHL)... Played lacrosse, soccer and track while at West Islip High School.
