UMass-Rhode Island Game To Air On NESN As Part Of ECAC Package

CAPE COD, Mass. - The UMass at Rhode Island football game on Nov. 3 will air on NESN as part of the new ECAC Game of the Week Package. The game gives UMass seven televised games in the 2007 regular-season. Here is the complete release from the ECAC
CAPE COD, Mass. - Commissioner of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC®) Rudy Keeling announced today that the Conference has formed a media partnership with the New England Sports Network (NESN) to launch a Game of the Week to be televised on New England's premier sports network as part of NESN University Football Saturday. The season-long football package includes Ivy League, Colonial Athletic Association, and New England Small College Athletic Conference match-ups. Eric Frede and Steve DeOssie will call the action live from the NESN broadcast booth, with Paul Souza serving as sideline reporter. The complete fall schedule includes Dartmouth at Yale (10/6), Princeton at Brown (10/13), Princeton at Harvard (10/20), Rhode Island at New Hampshire (10/27), UMass at Rhode Island (11/3), Amherst at Williams (11/10), and Maine at New Hampshire (11/17). "We are excited to partner with NESN to launch the ECAC Game of the Week," says Rudy Keeling, Commissioner of the ECAC. "The athletic competition that exists at our member colleges and universities in New England is some of the best in the country, and fans, family, and alumni will now be able to follow their teams both in New England and throughout the country via DBS satellite providers."
