AMHERST, Mass. - Fans in the Springfield and Boston television markets will be able to watch the UMass football team open its Mid-American Conference schedule this Saturday with a Noon game at Miami (Ohio). In Western Massachusetts, WGGB ABC40 will televise the game, while in Eastern Massachusetts, WCVB ABC 5 will have it live. The game is produced by ESPN as part of a syndication package. It will also be available online at www.ESPN3.com.

The game will also be on the UMass Sports Radio Network starting at kick-off. It can be heard online at http://www.weei.com/umass. Due to a conflict with the Red Sox, WHYN 560 AM will carry the game on the radio dial. 105.5 FM WEEI (Springfield) and 1440 AM WVEI (Worcester) will join the game in progress at the conclusion of the Red Sox game. On the South Shore, fans can listen on 95.9 FM WATD.
