AMHERST, Mass. - The 2011 University of Massachusetts football kick-off times have been announced including all home games and all away games with the exception of the Minutemen's game at Boston College (9/24). Four games are currently slated to be televised on Comcast SportsNet New England, while the season opener at Holy Cross will be televised live nationally on the CBS Sports Network.

The season will officially kick-off at Holy Cross on Thursday, Sept. 1 at 8 PM as previously announced. Following an early bye week, UMass will return to the friendly confines of McGuirk Alumni Stadium for a 6:30 PM kick-off against historic rival Rhode Island (9/17). That game will be televised on CSN-NE.

The away game at Delaware is set for a 3:30 PM kick-off and will also be shown on CSN-NE. This year's Colonial Clash in Gillette Stadium against New Hampshire (10/22) will feature UMass as the home team and will kick-off at 3:30 PM for CSN-NE's broadcast. The final Comcast televised game will be against Villanova (11/5) in McGuirk which is set to kick-off at 3:30 PM as well.

The home game against Central Connecticut State (10/8) will start at 6 PM, while Senior Day against James Madison on Nov. 19 is set for a 1 PM kick-off.

Season tickets for UMass football are now on sale and can be ordered by calling 866-UMASS-TIX or by going on-line at UMassAthletics.com. Special benefits for the 2012 season at Gillette Stadium are available to those who renew or are new season ticket holders. The ticket office also has an allotment of single-game tickets in the UMass sections available for road games.
