UMass-Holy Cross To Be Televised On CBS Sports Network

AMHERST, Mass. - The 2011 UMass football season-opener on Thursday, Sept. 1 at Holy Cross will be televised live nationally on the CBS Sports Network (also available in HD) with kick-off slated for 8 PM. This will be the 50th all-time meeting in the series.

The 8 PM start marks the first-ever night game in Fitton Field history.

UMass has won eight consecutive games in the series including last year's 31-7 victory in McGuirk Stadium.
