Kick-Off Times, TV Announced For Several UMass Football Games

June 6, 2014

AMHERST, Mass. - The Mid-American Conference announced the first three weeks of start times and television assignments on Friday morning including four games for the UMass football program. The Minutemen's home opener against Boston College at Gillette Stadium will kick-off at 3 PM on August 30 and will be televised on ESPN3.

The MAC announcement also listed UMass' second home game of the season against Colorado at Gillette Stadium as starting at 3 PM and also being televised on ESPN3.

The Minutemen's first game back at McGuirk Stadium will be against Bowling Green on Sept. 27 for Homecoming. A television assignment will be announced within a 12-day window prior to that game.

The composite MAC schedule also had UMass' game at Toledo scheduled for a 2 PM kick-off on Oct. 25 with the television assignment also to be announced later.

The game at Vanderbilt was announced last week as being a Noon kick-off in Nashville on Fox Sports Net (11 AM central time).

Start times and television assignments for the Penn State, Miami (Ohio), Kent State, Eastern Michigan and Buffalo games will be announced at a later date.
