EL PASO, Texas - UMass All-CAA fullback Chris Zardas will have his chance to shine in the national spotlight when he plays in the Texas vs. The Nation All-Star Game on Feb. 6. The game airs on CBS College Sports and pits some of the best college talent from the country vs. the best from the Lone Star State.

From last year's game 27 players appeared in the NFL during the 2009 season.

Zardas was a CAA First-Team selection and was named to the New England Football Writers All-Star Team. Zardas played all 11 games blocking for UMass' tailbacks Tony Nelson and Jonathan Hernandez.
