UMass' senior class finished its home career with a record of 24-3. The group has posted undefeated seasons in 2006 (9-0), 2007 (6-0) and 2009 (6-0).

The senior class is now is line to tie for the all-time best four-year record in UMass history. Last season's senior class finished 37-14. This year's group is now 36-15.

Tony Nelson had his 11th career 100-yard game and fourth this season with 115 yards on 18 carries.

Nelson also moved to a tie for sixth in career rushing touchdowns with 22. He is tied with Greg Landry (22).

Armando Cuko kicked two PATs to move to third in career PATs with 98. He passed Doug White (97) and is one shy of Chris Koepplin (99).

Tyler Holmes had his sixth-career 10-tackle game and fifth this season with 14 tackles.

Perry McIntyre had his second-career double-figure tackle game with 11 stops.

Jonathan Hernandez scored his eighth rushing touchdown of the season in the second quarter.

Caleb Violette had his longest punt of the season with a 63-yard boomer in the fourth quarter.

Julian Talley had a 48-yard kickoff return, the longest return of his career and longest by UMass this season.

UMass had its second blocked punt of the season, this one by Shane Viveiros coming in the third quarter. The other was by D.J. Adeoba at Kansas State in the season opener.
