AMHERST, Mass. (AP) - Jeff Krohn passed for four touchdowns, including three to Jason Peebler, as Massachusetts won its eighth straight game and remained unbeaten in the Atlantic 10 with a 30-17 victory over Richmond on Saturday.

Krohn completed 13 of 28 passes for 201 yards for UMass (9-1, 7-0 A-10) while Steve Baylark rushed for 144 yards and Rich Demers ran for 124 yards.

Richmond (2-7, 1-6) led 17-7 at halftime on a 26-yard field goal by Joe Fore, a 1-yard run by David Edwards and a 4-yard run by Stacy Tutt.

But UMass held the Spiders scoreless in the second half, as Krohn connected twice with Peebler and on a four-yard pass to Rich Demers.

Krohn's 23-yard scoring pass to Peebler with 7:01 left in the third closed the lead to three points.

The Minutemen tied the game with 1:11 left in the third on Michael Torres' 28-yard field goal, and took the lead on the pass to Demers early in the fourth.

Tutt passed for 99 yards and ran for 70 more for Richmond.

UMass' only score in the first half came on Krohn's 38-yard pass to Peebler.
