  • UMass rallied for a come-from-behind win for the fourth time this season and third time in the fourth quarter.

  • UMass is now 8-6-1 in the series with James Madison which dates to 1986.

  • This was UMass' first win at James Madison since 2002 when the Minutemen picked up a 14-7 victory. All-time UMass is now 4-3 at JMU.

  • This was UMass' second win over a Top 25 team this season. The first came against then-No. 4 William & Mary in the season opener, 27-23.

  • Jonathan Hernandez ran for more than 100 yards for the third time this season and fifth time in his career with 137.

  • After failing on its first four 2-point conversions this season, UMass completed its first successful one on a pass from Kyle Havens to Dan Sheeran in the fourth quarter.

  • Jonathan Hernandez had his longest run of the season on a 26-yard gain early in the first quarter.

  • Julian Talley had a 43-yard reception in the second quarter, the second-longest of the season for the junior.

  • Rob Blanchflower had a career-high four catches.
