- UMass Head Coach Don Brown On The Win:
"It was a very physical game today. Extra points for Maine have been an adventure this year and I thought the snap looked shaky. We gave Baylark the ball 30+ times today and he gave us a good effort."

Brown on the team's youth:
"We've been playing better over the last three weeks although we are still making 'young' mistakes because we are an emotional group. You can tell we have youth on the sideline and that we are still going through a learning process. The win today was huge for us because it keeps the hope for a winning season alive."

UMass Quarterback Tim Day:
"L.A.'s block in overtime was huge for us, obviously. We take a lot of pride in our special team play and today it won the game for us."
