Final Stats

HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) - Shannon James rushed 48 yards for a touchdown and Massachusetts held on to beat James Madison 14-7 Saturday.

Raunny Rosario also scored for the Minutemen (6-2, 4-1 Atlantic 10) on a 5-yard run in the third quarter. Massachusetts' Jeff Krohn finished 13-of-22 for 128 yards, with two interceptions.

James Madison (3-6, 2-5) had 415 total offensive yards and out-passed the Minutemen 278 to 128. But the Dukes managed only one TD, on a 1-yard run by Rondell Bradley with 5:34 left in the third.

Matt LeZotte had 220 yards on 12-for-23 passing, but was also intercepted twice. Bradley gained 37 yards on 13 carries.

Krohn was sacked three times for a total loss of 22 yards.
