AMHERST, Mass. -
Victor Cruz became the ninth player in UMass history with 100 career receptions. He made the catch late in the second quarter. With his six catches in the game, he moved to seventh in career catches with 101, passing Tim Berra (99), Kerry Taylor (100) and tying Chip Mitchell (101).

Cruz also moved to seventh in career receiving yards with 1,573. He passed Jimmy Moore (1,494), Bob Simeone (1,571).

Julian Talley had his first-career touchdown on a 10-yard reception with 1:17 left in the first half. It came on his 35th career catch.

Michael Hanson had his first-career interception in the game, coming in the third quarter with a three-yard return.

Kumar Davis intercepted the first pass of his career. It came in the end zone on the game's last play to seal the UMass victory.

Armando Cuko kicked his 12th field goal of the season, from 31 yards in the second quarter.

Redshirt freshman Stephane Milhim drew his first-career start at Right Guard in place of injured John Ihne.

Jonathan Hernandez drew his second-career start at tailback in place of injured Tony Nelson.
