AMHERST, Mass. (AP) - Stephan Lewis ran for three fourth-quarter touchdowns Saturday to lead New Hampshire to a 35-24 come-from-behind victory over Massachusetts.

Lewis, who carried 25 times for 258 yards, had scoring runs of 2, 56 and 77 yards as New Hampshire (4-1, 2-2 Atlantic 10) erased a 24-14 UMass lead with 21 unanswered points. Lewis also caught a 49-yard pass for a touchdown with no time left in the first half.

Massachusetts (0-5, 0-3) led 28-24 when New Hampshire's Aaron Thomas intercepted a Matt Guice pass at his own 23. On the next play from scrimmage, Lewis ran 77 yards for the winning score.

UMass led 17-0 before Lewis caught a Hail Mary pass from Mike Granieri to end the first half.

The Minutemen were led by Guice, whose 63 attempts and 403 passing yards were both school records. Guice was intercepted four times.

Guice threw for two touchdowns and ran for a third. His 60-yard pass to Jimmie Howard gave UMass a 14-0 lead with 8:21 left in the second quarter. A 21-yard scoring pass to Neal Brown with 13:07 left in the fourth quarter gave UMass a 24-14 lead.
