AMHERST, Mass. (AP) - Jeff Krohn passed for two touchdowns and ran for another, leading Massachusetts to a 20-10 win over previously unbeaten Maine on Saturday.

The Minutemen (4-2, 2-1 Atlantic 10) led 13-3 at halftime, but a bad snap from center on an attempted punt gave Maine possession on the UMass 8. The Black Bears (6-1, 4-1) scored on a 1-yard run by Jake Eaton.

But Massachusetts responded by driving 52 yards in 7 plays, with Krohn completing a 20-yard touchdown pass to Adrian Zullo.

In the first quarter, after Maine took its only lead on a 30-yard field goal by Mike Mellow, UMass drove 73 yards, with Krohn scoring from the 1-yard line to make it 7-3.

Massachusetts wide receiver Adrian Zullo pulls down a touchdown pass as Maine's Jarrod Gomes defends in the first half.

Krohn, who completed 12 of 22 passes for 176 yards, threw a 16-yard scoring pass to Zullo to give the Minutemen a 13-3 lead.

Eaton was 12-for-35 for 102 yards and two interceptions.

R.J. Cobbs rushed for 112 yards for UMass. Marcus Williams gained 94 yards to lead Maine.
