Kevin Morris on Delaware winning the game:
"You don't expect that result. It was surprising. They executed plays, especially early in the game and we didn't. They're a good team and they don't have a lot of weaknesses and tonight we showed we have some. We didn't execute early offensively at all and that affected the outcome of the game."
Morris on Delaware QB Pat Devlin:
"Pat Devlin is a real quality football player. I think it's more of a fact that he's real good. I'm not worried about our pass defense down the road."
Morris on the running game for the Minutemen:
"We weren't running the ball well, we weren't executing in any phase at that point. And the result was the score got out of hand, and we had to throw it more than we wanted."
Tony Nelson on his tough running game:
"We hurt ourselves in the first half. We just never got it going. They got up big on us. The fumble that I had . . . that hurt. After that, we just never got it going."
Jeromy Miles on the loss:
"It was frustrating. We came out slow. We did exactly what we planned on not doing and came out too slow. We let a good team get up on us. You can't be a great team and come out sluggish like that."
Delaware Coach K.C. Keeler on the win:
"We played a great game tonight and beat a very good football team. It's been a while since we had a win like this. It was an all-around effort. I've been saying all year that we have a good football team - as good as anybody out there. Our record might not reflect that right now, but we keep making big strides and keep getting better each week."
"I'm really glad for our kids, they did a phenomenal job tonight. It's great to get a win over a Top 25 team because this was a game we had to win. I think we found ourselves tonight and we really gained some confidence and hopefully we keep playing like this."
Pat Devlin on the game:
"This is really the first week we came out and started early and that really helped us make the rest of the game a lot easier. Our defense usually doesn't give up 20 points in a game so when you can get that in the first quarter, it really builds your confidence. We have so many guys stepping up and its really good to see Mark (Duncan) doing such a great job. He is a veteran who knows what to look for."
