2002: A backup quarterback for the Minutemen ? Also served as the holder on field goals and extra points ? Played in all 12 games on the season, seeing action at quarterback in five games ? Connected on two of five passing attempts on the season, for 27 yards ? Completed both of his pass attempts for 27 yards against Central Connecticut.

2001: Redshirted ? Selected to the Athletic Director?s Honor Roll during the fall semester.

UMass Baseball: One of the top pitchers for the Minutemen in 2002 and 2003 ? Owns a career mark of 4-4 with eight saves, 67 strikeouts and a 5.34 earned run average ? Earned first team All-Atlantic 10 honors in 2003 ? Had a 2-2 record in 2003 with seven saves, 27 strikeouts and a 3.70 earned run average in 18 relief appearances ? Posted 2-2 record in 2002 with one save, 40 strikeouts and a 6.44 earned run average in 15 appearances (five starts) ? Tied for the all-time UMass record in both career and single season saves.

Before UMass: Played for coach Shaun Bell at Granite Hills High School in Apple Valley, Calif. ? Completed 95 of 175 passes for 1,016 yards and seven touchdowns during senior season, while also rushing for four scores ? Over the course of high school career, completed 169 of 323 passes for 1,737 yards and 13 touchdowns ? Two-time team captain, and two-time team Offensive MVP ? Named honorable mention All-Desert Sky League ? Also pitched on the baseball team at Granite Hills, where he was a two-time team captain ? Went 7-3 with 1.80 earned run average and 155 strikeouts in 86 innings pitched ? Earned All-Desert Sky League honors in baseball as a senior ? Named the Citrus Belt League Athlete of the Year as a senior.
