2007 UPDATE:
• Started all 13 games in 2007, sixth on the team and second among secondary players in tackles with 62 stops (36 solo). Had two interceptions, two sacks, 4.0 TFLs, blocked field goal, two fumble recoveries and eight passes defended.
• Three stops at #4 Southern Illinois (12/1) in NCAA Quarters.
• Four tackles in NCAA First Round vs. Fordham (11/24).
• Made five tackles, had a sack and 1.5 TFLs at #22 Hofstra (11/17).
• All-around game in win over #14 UNH (11/10). Made five tackles, had an interception return for 23 yards, a TFL and another pass break-up.
• Five tackles at Rhode Island (11/3).
• Three tackles, 0.5 TFL at William & Mary (10/27).
• First-career interception along with career-high nine tackles and a fumble recovery vs. Northeastern (10/20).
• Five stops and had a pass break-up vs. Villanova (10/13).
• At Boston College (9/29), had three solo tackles.
• Recovered Miles' forced fumble and returned it 17 yards to set-up UMass' second TD at Maine (9/22), also two tackles.
• Blocked a 34-yard field goal in addition to five tackles vs. #23 Towson (9/15).
• Career-high eight tackles along with first career sack at Colgate (9/8). Had two pass break-ups and the TFL for sack.
• Started opener vs. Holy Cross (9/1), making five tackles.

As a redshirt sophomore in 2006: Played in the final 10 games of the season as reserve defensive back and special teams contributor ... Made one start... Sat our first five for violation of team rules ... Made 19 tackles, 11 solo and eight assisted ... 12 of 19 tackles came in four NCAA Tournament games ... Made three tackles in NCAA Final vs. #1 Appalachian State (12/15) ... Two stops at #2 Montana (12/8) in NCAA Final ... Career-high six tackles against #9 New Hampshire (12/2) in NCAA Quarterfinal win, also forced a fumble in the fourth quarter ... Before College: Earned first team All-City and All-State honors his junior and senior years ... First-Team All-State as a senior at free safety ... Played for Head Coach Vince Laino at Fort Hamilton High School in Brooklyn, N.Y. ...
