2004 UPDATE

• Senior placekicker who is handling kicking in certain situations.

• Made first three field goal attempts this season and has made 4-for-7 overall and is 6-for-6 on extra points.

• Returned to action at Northeastern (11/6) and made an extra point in the third quarter.

• Converted a 32-yard field goal along with three extra points at Rhode Island (10/23). It marked fourth career 32-yarder.

• Had a 24-yard field goal blocked in second quarter at James Madison (10/9). Executed a successful on-sides kick.

• Converted first extra-pt. attempt for UMass vs. Delaware (9/25).

• Made a 20-yard field goal vs. Colgate (9/11).

• Converted from 32 and 21 yards at Delaware State (9/4).

• UMass is his third school, as he also kicked at New Mexico (2002) and was on the roster at Oklahoma State (2000).

• Worked on a volunteer basis for the UMass Radio Network for both football and basketball games last season when he sitting out do to transfer rules.

Will compete for both the placekicking and punting duties ... An experienced kicker with tremendous leg strength ... A transfer from the University of New Mexico, who enrolled at UMass in the spring of 2003.

2003: Sat out the season after transferring from New Mexico ... Worked on a volunteer basis for the UMass Radio Network on broadcasts of football and basketball games.

Before UMass: Played in 12 games at New Mexico in 2002, making three of four field goals and two of three extra point attempts ... Hit on field goals of 26, 32 and 32 yards against Baylor, while also making one extra point ... Also connected on one extra point against New Mexico State ... Had one tackle on kickoff coverage ... Sat out the 2001 season after transferring from Oklahoma State, where he redshirted in 2000 ... Played his prep ball for coach Bob Lambie at Paradise Valley High School ... Named first team All-Region as a senior, after making eight of 12 field goals and all 39 of his extra point attempts ... Helped team to Desert Valley Region championship in senior year ...
