Before UMass: A speedy defensive back and running back in high school where he was also on the track and field team as a sprinter in the 100- and 200-meter dashes ... A three-year selection to the All-Howard County Team as a wide receiver and defensive back ... As a running back he had 69 carries for 293 yards and three touchdowns ... Totaled more than 1,100 yards of total offense as a wide receiver and running back along with 12 career touchdowns ... Tallied 100 tackles, including 48 unassisted, as a senior with four interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown ... Selected to the 2012 Maryland All-Star Game ... Helped Mt. Hebron to its first winning season since 2004 ... Was an all-county selection in track and held the Mt. Hebron records in the 55, 100, 200 and 300 meter dashes upon graduation ...
