As A Freshman In 2013: Redshirted the season to enter 2014 with four years of eligibility remaining.

Before UMass: A speedy defensive back and running back in high school where he was also on the track and field team as a sprinter in the 100- and 200-meter dashes ... A three-year selection to the All-Howard County Team as a wide receiver and defensive back ... As a running back he had 69 carries for 293 yards and three touchdowns ... Totaled more than 1,100 yards of total offense as a wide receiver and running back along with 12 career touchdowns ... Tallied 100 tackles, including 48 unassisted, as a senior with four interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown ... Selected to the 2012 Maryland All-Star Game ... Helped Mt. Hebron to its first winning season since 2004 ... Was an all-county selection in track and held the Mt. Hebron records in the 55, 100, 200 and 300 meter dashes upon graduation ... Bronze medalist in the 200 meter dash at the 2012 Maryland State Championship ... Won the 100 and 200 meter dashes at the 3A East Regional Championship ... Named an AAU Track and Field All-American in 2009 and 2010 ... An honor roll student who also spent time volunteering as a camp counselor over the summer and with Meals on Wheels.
