Joyce Gorman Position: Football Secretary Experience: 12th Season Alma Mater: Elms College

Joyce Gorman is in her 13th season as secretary for the UMass football program, and has worked for UMass' last three head coaches (Mike Hodges, Mark Whipple and Don Brown). Among her responsibilities, she maintains coach Brown's appointments, manages the office environment, types practice plans and other documents, maintains the player database, facilitates compliance paperwork, prepares expense vouchers and supports the 11 coaches in the program. She also supervises student workers, who maintain the recruit database and prepare mailings.
A former teacher and social worker, Gorman received her bachelor's degree from the Elms College in Chicopee, Mass. She resides in Granby.
