A first team All-Western Massachusetts selection in his sophomore, junior and senior seasons ? Named MVP of the Inter-County League as a senior, in addition to being a three-time All-League selection ? Served as team captain as a senior, when he was also named team MVP ? Also a member of the baseball and basketball teams at Ware ? Hit .540 in baseball during his senior year, while earning first team All-Western Massachusetts honors all four years.
